Vin came to Edmentum in April 2007, having developed his executive leadership skills in the business world in companies ranging from mid-size to Fortune 500 to global 1000. With indepth experience in corporate development in sales, marketing, services, and operations, Vin directs Edmentum’s strategy and growth with clear purpose and vision.

Education gives the young people of today the capability to accomplish whatever they set their minds to. Rob Rueckl

Chief Financial Officer

Rob joined Edmentum in June 2005 as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, bringing with him a wealth of experience from leadership roles at Zomax Incorporate, a publicly held supply chain services company and ADC Telecommunications, along with six years in the audit practice of KPMG. In January 2007, Rob became Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and has now been leading Edmentum’s financial teams with long-term strategic vision, overseeing multiple key functions, including finance, accounting, corporate operations and business systems.

Jamie Candee

Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Jamie began her career with Edmentum in Human Resources and has worked in nearly every department over her seven year tenure.  Recently celebrating the milestone of bringing together three outstanding sales and marketing organizations, she has built a team of deeply committed professionals driven to make a difference.  Jamie’s ambitious personality and strong leadership, truly drive her team to be the best while selling products they can truly stand behind – and have fun while doing it.

Why education?

“I am inspired by the students and educators I meet on a regular basis.” Jamie began her undergraduate studies in elementary education before shifting to focus on business management.  She is a committed lifelong learner and has always chosen career opportunities that allow her to both teach and continue to learn.

Dave Adams

Chief Academic Officer

Dave started with Edmentum in 1994 as part of PLATO Learning’s acquisition of Lightspan.  Throughout his tenure Dave has led content development including development of Edmentum’s online courses solution; development of the assessment products; and the ongoing innovation of online curriculum.  Establishing an evaluation and efficacy program to measure the effectiveness of educational solutions, Edmentum can now measure the impact on student learning. Dave has also led Professional Services, Training and Implementation solutions and most recently runs Edmentum’s virtual school, EdOptions Academy.

Why education?

“I have dedicated my career to education, developing innovative solutions for teaching and learning for over 20 years.”  A central goal to Dave’s career has been to help drive the transformation from a traditional one-size-fits-all education to a new 21^st century paradigm where technology is central to how we accelerate teaching and learning and differentiate education for all students.

Stacey Herteux

Vice President, Human Resources

A true people person, Stacey, has been with Edmentum since September 2007.  She began as an HR Business Partner building relationships and growing leadership across the organization.  Transitioning to Vice President of Human Resources, she joined the executive leadership team determined to evolve a reactive human resources organization into one with true vision.  Stacey leads a dynamic team with strategy, focused on building for the future.

Why education?

“Education has an impact on everything we do in society and I love being a part of it!” Stacey grew up in a family of educators, even having her own father as a teacher in the 7^th grade.  The experience taught her to differentiate her relationship with her father as his child and as his student, which has helped her perfect the balance of personal and professional relationships in her career.

“I saw a true opportunity with Edmentum, a company and an industry going through an evolution.” Stacey is driven by ongoing opportunities to grow and transform.  She embraces change and appreciates the opportunity to directly and indirectly contribute to the future of education.

Andy Frost

Vice President, Product Management

Andy has been part of the product management team for more than six years. He has managed nearly every type of product in Edmentum’s product portfolio, from platforms and software to curriculum and services.  Key milestones include introducing a new services model; giving him cross-functional view of all product lines and launching the company’s first SaaS platform.  Andy now leads a talented group of individuals in managing one of most comprehensive product portfolios in the industry.

“I love the intersection of business, education, and technology.”  Andy has truly been inspired by his educational experiences and past teachers.  This “big picture” thinker certainly has a passion for education and a collaborative approach to building the right solutions to help solve educators’ pressing challenges.

“Where else could I work where I manage products that help students every day in a meaningful way?”  Andy’s passion for helping students reach their goals is shown in his contagious enthusiasm. Whether it’s helping a student graduate with an effective credit recovery program, providing proven test preparation solutions for a principal to maintain school funding, helping a young student learn to read to set them up for future success or preparing an adult learner to land the job they want, Edmentum has a solution.

Paul Johansen

Chief Technology Officer

Paul began at Edmentum as Chief Architect in December 2009, overseeing all software development, architecture and data center operations. During this time he led a team in launching the company’s first SaaS offering allowing development to expand and progress its ability to react to the needs of today’s ever changing educational landscape. Paul joined the Edmentum executive leadership team in early 2012 taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer as the company turned the corner to broaden its offerings with the Archipelago Learning acquisition.

“The combination of technology and education is incredibly inspiring to me and I feel fortunate to be part of the evolution we are currently seeing in how we teach and learn.”  With raising young children in a technology savvy home, Paul is immersed in and encouraged by how technology can change the way students learn.

Richard Whalley

Managing Director

Richard began with EducationCity in 2010 and has taken great pride in continuing the growth of the product both in the UK and US and is particularly proud of the increasing international reach beyond these two key territories. This manifests itself not only in the performance but was externally recognized by an award in 2012 for “Exporter of the Year” at the UK’s premier education event BETT. Joining the Edmentum Executive Leadership Team in May 2012 was a significant personal career milestone and has enabled Richard and his team to further push the opportunity for growth for EducationCity worldwide.
