Georgia Analytic Geometry A/B

Georgia Analytic Geometry A and B are two semester-long courses built to Common Core Georgia Standards of Excellence as well as on a modern understanding of how students learn mathematics. With lesson activities that use a scaffolded inquiry approach, students master the Eight Standards for Mathematical Practice as defined in the Common Core State Standards. The units in Analytic Geometry A begin with similarity, congruence, and proof, and students progress through polynomials and rational expressions. Semester B includes units on quadratic functions and practical applications of probability.
