Texas Principles of Architecture, Semester A/B

This course is designed to help students understand various concepts related to architecture. Students will identify common structural elements and the effect of mechanical forces on them. They will also interpret architectural drawings. The course explains the key concepts in urban design and describes environment-friendly techniques in construction. The course covers the different types of materials and equipment used in construction. Students will get familiar with the safety and legal requirements associated with architecture and construction projects. The course also covers the key aspects of construction project management. Students will identify careers related to architecture, interior designing, and construction project management. They will also identify various employability skills and appropriate work habits.  The course combines a variety of content types, including lessons, activities, discussions, and games to keep students engaged.
