New secondary courses are now available for Plato Courseware and EdOptions Academy. These new math and English language arts (ELA) courses are built to state and national standards, mobile optimized, and feature multimedia content to keep students engaged, to cater to different learning styles, and to better measure student understanding. In addition to the newly rebuilt courses, Edmentum released over 40 state-specific courses and will continue to seek approvals and certifications from third party agencies to ensure high-quality instructional content.
To complement this expanded course offering, Edmentum will launch a new set of dynamic tools and services to support blended learning programs and better personalize learning for students. Educators can use Edmentum’s new Flex Assignments to customize instructional content and the Virtual Collaboration Space to connect with students in a synchronous environment.
“We are extremely excited about our ability to expand the way in which we support school and district programs to meet their ever-changing needs,” said Paul Johansen, head of product and technology at Edmentum. “These new enhancements allow us to better support educators in improving student outcomes."
Edmentum will be showcasing these enhancements at ISTE 2015 (booth #2406) at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, June 29 through July 1, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For more information, visit edmentum.com/iste or call 800-447-5286.
