Exact Path’s integration with NWEA MAP assessments offers one way to measure student growth. Edmentum conducted an exploratory, academic-year study to learn more about the K–8 students from Millard Public Schools (MPS) in Nebraska using Exact Path mathematics and reading learning paths and factors that correlate with RIT scores. This study describes the relationship between usage during the 2017–18 school year of Exact Path and NWEA™ MAP® scores in Millard Public Schools. There are positive significant correlations between RIT scores and the number of Exact Path Progress Check assessments taken and passed by students.

The passing rates of Progress Check assessments by students showed positive effect sizes on RIT scores.

The overall number of Exact Path Progress Checks taken by students show positive effect sizes on RIT scores.

The number of lessons completed in Exact Path by students, as well as the amount of time spent in the Exact Path learning path indicates small effect sizes for several grades per subjects.
