Hawaii State Department of Education
The Hawaii State Department of Education through the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Student Support's Hawaii Virtual Learning Network (HVLN) has purchased Plato licenses with professional development for eligible schools to access and utilize. The licenses can be used to assist students with credit recovery, initial credit and college and career preparation. It also serves as an excellent resource for teachers. Eligible schools were given the opportunity to explore what Plato PLE has to offer and determine how it could be utilized and implemented at their individual schools.
University of California "a-g"
University of California "a-g": The ultimate goal of the "a-g" Guide Project is to clarify the UC course approval process, to provide guidance to schools on how to present their course offerings to UC, and to ensure that UC/CSU subject area requirements encompass the best of high school reform efforts in California. The "a-g" Guide Project and this web site are jointly funded and supported by the California Department of Education (CDE) and the University of California (UC).
Virginia Multidivisional Online Provider
The Code of Virginia allows school divisions to offer online instruction to students in multiple school divisions by entering into a contract with any private organization, educational institution, or nonprofit virtual school organization that has been approved by the superintendent of public instruction to operate as a multidivisional online provider.
