Edmentum Releases 2024–25 Annual Impact Report Highlighting Measurable Gains in Student Achievement, Attendance, and College and Career Readiness

Data and district stories highlight how coherent, AI-enabled solutions are boosting learning outcomes and opening more college and career doors for students 

Bloomington, MN (December 8, 2025)—Edmentum, the leading provider of K-12 digital curriculum, assessments, and learning interventions, has released its 2024–25 Annual Impact Report, showcasing how the company is partnering with districts and schools to transform ambitious goals into attainable outcomes for students. The report details recent research and success stories illustrating practical, scalable solutions that increase achievement across K-12 and expand access to postsecondary options.  

Featured research from the past year includes 15 ESSA-rated studies demonstrating that Exact Path use improved achievement across NWEA MAP Growth, Renaissance Star, and state assessments. Exact Path diagnostics also exceed strong NCII-rated correlations of 0.7 for 26 state tests—every state Edmentum has studied—underscoring the assessment data’s reliability. In addition, two ESSA-rated studies showed Edmentum Courseware’s positive impact on NWEA MAP Growth scores, achievement, and attendance —including a Clover, S.C. study in which students using Courseware had 23% fewer absences than their peers. 

The report highlights how close collaboration with district partners brings these outcomes to life.

Over the past year, Edmentum has strategically integrated artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance content development, align more rapidly and precisely with academic standards, and improve accessibility for diverse learners, while maintaining a strong commitment to efficacy and responsible innovation. • Exact Path Predicts College Readiness: Exact Path diagnostics deliver highly accurate predictions of PSAT, SAT, and ACT scores.
• Exact Path Helps Struggling Readers Succeed: With Exact Path, students were two times more likely to overcome reading challenges when studied in Tulsa, Okla.
• Increased Growth for Students in Special Education: Students receiving special education services achieved two times more growth in both math and English language arts (ELA). 

With increased diploma access combined with an emphasis on academic integrity, Edmentum is reimagining the path to graduation 

Edmentum is partnering with districts to ensure that more students can reach the milestone of a high school diploma—and benefit from the associated improvements in economic opportunity, health, and well-being—without lowering standards. The company has developed the only flexible, credit-bearing digital program with proven attendance and achievement results while also filling gaps for districts by providing experienced, state-certified teachers, 95% of whom hold advanced degrees. Among the highlighted outcomes: 

• Driving Achievement in Algebra 1: A strong predictor of graduation success, students who use Courseware demonstrate significant achievement gains of up to 5 points on NWEA Map compared to students who don’t use Courseware.  
• Virtual Programs Help Districts Retain Students and Funding: Edmentum helped rural Jefferson-Morgan School District (Pa.) retain students they were losing to cyber charters and keep up to $24,000 of funding per student.
• Edmentum’s Virtual Teachers Significantly Reduced Failure Rates: At South Harrison HS in rural Missouri, Edmentum filled a shortage by providing state-certified teachers who gave students expanded options and second chances, helping to reduce the failure rate from 30% down to 6%.

• Courseware’s Career Curriculum Provided a Scalable, Structured Program: Edmentum’s curriculum provides students with practical skills that directly contribute to their success during practicum and in the workplace in Stafford, Texas.  
• High School Students Graduated with College- and Career-Ready Credentials: In 2024, 89 students in Stafford HS (Texas)—43 percent of the graduating class—earned an associate’s degree, nearly half of them first-generation college students.
