Let’s meet in San Antonio!

Interested in sharing your district's biggest challenges—and most ambitious dreams—with an edtech leader dedicated to listening, partnering, and making a difference for your staff and students? Let's meet face-to-face.

I can’t wait for the ISTE+ASCD conference this year. It's my first chance to represent Edmentum at the biggest annual edtech event, and I’m excited to discuss the present and future of K-12 education with all in attendance.

I’m new to Edmentum, but the education profession’s been in my life from day one. I’m like-minded in one of our company’s core beliefs: we need to be out hearing directly from educators, observing your work, and truly understanding how we can best support you today. This conference is a prime opportunity for those real conversations. So let’s grab some face time in booth 2830.

Our work is focused on creating innovative, proven learning acceleration solutions and partnering with educators like you to ignite student potential. We’re currently tracking significant growth in the implementation of comprehensive career-connected learning programs, increased need for targeted intervention that prioritizes both growth and proficiency, and a desire to expand course offerings—along with the support and capacity to deliver those courses through virtual instruction and professional services. Opportunity is the word that comes up again and again; I look forward to talking about the creative ways we can collaborate to open up opportunity for your learners.

I’m also excited to see all the ways our team applies its expertise on site, from Dr. Michelle Barrett’s presentation on one of ISTE’s premier panels to a number of in-booth sessions about the products helping schools drive real change (each of which you can read about below).

I lead an amazing team that spends its days in schools everywhere across the country, and I consistently hear reasons to be inspired. Partnering on high school redesign initiatives, completing successful “CSI to success” turnarounds, and driving down absenteeism rates...these are just some of the recent stories that demonstrate the results of authentic partnership between Edmentum and school districts. At the same time, I know we can do more to help you bring learning to life for every student, everywhere—I want to hear what’s on your mind, what’s working for you, and how we can build on that success.

Your work is crucial, your insights are needed, and I’m here to serve. I look forward to discussing the state of education and connecting around real solutions. Stop by booth 2830 for a conversation and read below about all the ways you can connect with our team in San Antonio.

Featured Session

The State of Edtech Research: How Evidence Can Inform Tech Selection

Tuesday, July 1st, 1:00-2:00pm CT | Room 221B, Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center

Hear from Edmentum’s Senior Vice President of Research, Policy, and Impact, Dr. Michelle Barrett, on this featured panel investigating the requirements for turning edtech evidence into impact.

The panelists will contribute to a reimagining of quality evidence designed to genuinely inform the decisions that impact classrooms. The shared goal: efficacious solutions at scale that support teachers and students.

In an era where "trial-and-error" is no longer sustainable for school districts, you’ll hear new possibilities for ensuring data is clear, transparent, and readily available to inform in-time decision-making—enhancing impact and provable ROI. For leaders struggling to make the most of available resources and maximize instructional time, Michelle will also introduce examples of a “less testing, more learning” approach that enables targeted instructional impact built on existing assessment data.

In short, this panel will highlight some of the persistent challenges common in edtech evidence, while taking a solutions-oriented view toward turning research strengths into results.
