Arkansas Geometry A/B

Arkansas Geometry is a two-semester course that is 100% aligned to the  Arkansas Mathematics Standards. The course is designed to help students develop computational fluency, deepen their conceptual understanding, and apply mathematical processes. Students will investigate and prove theorems about lines, angles, triangles, parallelograms, and other polygons; build geometric constructions; and investigate rigid and non-rigid transformations of figures in the coordinate plane. They will also explore right triangles, trigonometry, and properties of circles and measure surface area and volume of geometric solids to model and solve real-world problems. The course supports student learning through guided instruction, interactive tools, videos that work through examples and model problem-solving skills, worksheets for practice, and guided notes that help students record key takeaways as they move through the tutorial.
