Texas Entrepreneurship A/B
Texas Entrepreneurship is a two-semester course designed to promote understanding of the knowledge and skills required to launch and manage a successful business. Students will examine entrepreneurial characteristics and business models, product development and pricing, market research, and operations management. The course places a particular focus on financial analysis, human resources, and legal and ethical considerations in business. In unit activities, students will evaluate distribution and promotion strategies, assess inventory control and supply chain management, and interpret accounting statements and types of business capital. Students will also apply knowledge of contract and intellectual property law to business scenarios and construct a comprehensive business plan.
