This quasi-experimental study, designed to meet ESSA Tier 2 evidence and What Works Clearinghouse standards with reservations, investigated the efficacy of Edmentum’s personalized learning program, Exact Path, in the Tulsa Public Schools district in Oklahoma. The study assessed the program’s impact on reading achievement using NWEA® Measures of Academic Progress™ (MAP), controlling for prior test scores and socioeconomic status for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Results demonstrated that Exact Path had positive effects on reading outcomes of diverse learners, including students at risk for reading difficulties. These findings suggest that Exact Path could be an effective tool for providing individualized levels of support for students struggling to read.
