Independent Study of Exact Path's Diagnostic Assessment

Emetric, a third-party research organization, completed a Differential Item Functioning (DIF) study of the Exact Path diagnostic assessment in the subject areas of language arts, mathematics, and reading across grades K-12. DIF studies are a common way to evaluate item quality and the fairness of student assessments in our industry. This study provides evidence that items administered in Exact Path diagnostic assessments are fair and accurate measures of achievement for all students.
