Partner Spotlight: Changing Futures with Courseware in Perris, California
“During my last six and a half years overseeing Courseware, I’ve helped thousands of kids graduate,” recounted Mark Synnott, coordinator of educational services at Perris Union High School District (PUHSD). “I’ve seen families’ lives change just by their student being able to graduate high school.”
PUHSD in Southern California serves students from diverse backgrounds, with many arriving as credit deficient and at risk of not finishing high school. Without flexible options, they would fall through the cracks.
The district turned to Edmentum Courseware to give students another path. Learners can retake failed classes online, home/hospital students can access coursework without disruption, and summer sessions provide second chances for learners to catch up and stay on track.
Thousands of students have earned their diplomas through this approach, turning setbacks into success and giving families the life-changing impact of a high school graduation.
