Edmentum is pleased to support our partners from Williamsburg County School District at their Roundtable Discussion Achieving State-Best Growth Through Data, Partnership, and Action in Williamsburg County School District on Friday, February 13th from 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM.

During the 2023-24 school year, Williamsburg County School District (WCSD) achieved the highest growth in Algebra 1 (48% improvement) and Biology 1 (20% improvement) across South Carolina, as measured by End-of-Course Exams. WCSD also improved the graduation rate across both its high schools. In this session, they will describe the keys that helped their rural district achieve these outcomes:

  • Common Planning: By implementing high-quality digital curriculum districtwide, WCSD enables teachers and administrators to plan an engaging course of learning that focuses on students’ strengths and interests.
  • Progress Monitoring: We use the digital tools to give educators access to real-time data on student progress, so they can adjust instructional strategies and provide timely intervention to strengthen skill gaps.
  • Strong Partnerships: We work with a partner we trust to address staffing shortages, enhance personalized learning, and provide credit recovery so students can prepare for postsecondary opportunity.
