Academic Integrity Meets Student Success: Rethinking Online Credit Recovery Implementation
Wednesday, February 18th at 3:30 PM - Room 4
Ready to discuss AI in education? Join us to explore the OTHER critical AI — Academic Integrity — and how it intersects with student success in online credit recovery programs. This panel brings together school leaders from urban, rural, and suburban districts to tackle universal challenges: balancing academic rigor with flexible pacing, creating differentiated student supports, empowering teachers for credit recovery environments, and establishing policies that maintain standards while supporting struggling students.
Through facilitated discussion using research-based frameworks, participants will collaborate with panelists and peers to identify specific policy and practice changes they can implement in their own contexts. Our conversation will explore how high-quality online curriculum integrates with district policies, teacher practices, and student support systems to create effective programs. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies for selecting success metrics beyond graduation rates that demonstrate both academic rigor and student growth, adapted for their specific district context.
