Not all secondary students go to college. San Diego Virtual School, an online charter school now in its 15th year, recognizes this reality, as well as its own responsibility to equip all students for the paths they plan to pursue. Principal Diahann Kunczynski will share how Portrait of a Graduate immerses students in discovery and self-reflection, a process that starts by surveying employers in the San Diego business community and evolves into a year of personal growth for each learner. Participants will see how innovative virtual programs like Portrait of a Graduate can connect students to authentic, community-driven career pathways, redefining what career readiness looks like in the digital age.
