From TikTok to Toolbelt: Preparing Gen Z for Work

Dubbed the ‘toolbelt generation,’ over half of Gen Z respondents in a recent survey say they are considering a skilled trade career—up 12% from last year. Schools are now working to modernize career preparation to meet the moment, including by tapping immersive technology to expose students to in-demand skilled trades. This panel brings together tech, career prep and school leaders to discuss how we can harness tech to engage students in learning while preparing them to successfully meet workforce demands.
