Edmentum Exact Path Earns ISTE Seal of Alignment for Readiness for Third Year in a Row

Exact Path recognized as fully aligned to the rigorous ISTE Standards for digital-age skill building

Bloomington, MN (March 5, 2020) - Edmentum, a global education leader and pioneer in online teaching and learning solutions, is pleased to announce that Edmentum Exact Path has earned the The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Seal of Alignment for Readiness for the third year in a row. Exact Path utilizes adaptive diagnostic assessments paired with individualized learning paths to ensure academic growth in K–12 reading, language arts, and math. The Seal of Alignment for Readiness recognizes Exact Path as a highly effective, quality learning tool that meets the globally recognized ISTE Standards.

Exact Path makes learning personal and saves educators time so that they can meet the disparate needs of their K–12 students each and every day. Using valid and reliable adaptive diagnostic assessments to precisely determine each student’s strengths and needs, Exact Path then automatically creates unique learning playlists grounded in the specific skills students need to be successful academically.

The ISTE report noted that “students enrolled in the Exact Path curriculum will engage in a wide variety of technology-supported activities that will help prepare them for future, deeper opportunities to leverage technology in ways that empower independent student learning.”

ISTE’s panel of expert reviewers selects edtech products for the Seal of Alignment designation based on the following indicators from the ISTE Standards for Students:

  • Empowered Learner
  • Digital Citizen
  • Knowledge Constructor
  • Innovative Designer
  • Computational Thinker
  • Creative Communicator
  • Global Collaborator

“We are honored that Edmentum’s Exact Path has earned the ISTE Seal of Alignment for Readiness for a third consecutive year,” said Dr. Shane Dennison, state and federal programs manager at Edmentum. “The ISTE Seal is further validation that Exact Path does what it was designed to do—support positive student outcomes in the 21st century K–12 classroom.”

The ISTE Seal of Alignment program can help educators find resources that directly support the digital-age skills identified in the ISTE Standards indicators. All edtech products submitted for consideration are evaluated through a rigorous review process by a panel of ISTE Standards experts.
