The honor given by ASU+GSV recognizes women for their leadership in bringing about a world that provides equal access to the future through the promise of education. The POW! Award is given annually to entrepreneurs, innovators, and educators leading some of the largest and most influential organizations in education.

"It is an honor to be recognized alongside this group of brilliant, innovative and compassionate world-changers,” Candee said. “I commend ASU+GSV for recognizing the power of women in leadership. Their commitment to supporting and promoting women leaders is incredibly valuable, as we focus on building scaled, high impact education companies.”

“At Edmentum, we are focused on amplifying the work of exemplary women within our organization,” Candee said. “Our incredible team is comprised of 72% women and that diversity extends into our leadership - with women accounting for 54% of all leaders at Edmentum. While there is still work to be done, we are proud of the progress we have made as a company.”

Candee leads Edmentum’s strategic vision and long-term growth as President, CEO, and Board Director.
