Ivy Global March Seminars Helped International Schools Turn Insight Into Impact

For international schools, every decision counts as leaders and educators navigate increasingly complex challenges and rising expectations. The conversation around educational technology is also shifting, with schools focusing closely on what truly drives better learning experiences and visible progress.

That was the backdrop for two recent events that brought Ivy Global School and Edmentum together to share what they’ve learned through their partnership. School leaders and educators in attendance saw how data-informed strategy can lead to more effective classroom practice and gained fresh ideas for building collaborative, engaging learning environments tied to measurable outcomes.

A Successful Partnership with Real Momentum

These events came at an important moment in the partnership. Since 2021, Ivy Global School has completed 9,920 diagnostic tests and 5,920 courses through Edmentum, while achieving an 89% Exact Path mastery rate and an overall Courseware pass rate of 87%. The school has also received positive feedback from staff, students, and families as Edmentum has become part of its wider learning environment.

These conversations gave participants a chance to build on what is already working, share insight across the school community, and look ahead to what tighter alignment between strategy and practice can bring about.

The Next Era of International Education: How Technology is Redefining Student Outcomes in Asia-Pacific

On 25 March, Edmentum Regional Director Eve Lee, alongside Ms Nhu Hoa, Managing Director of Ivy Global School, and Maciej Gorczycki, Executive Principal of Einstein School, led school leaders in a timely discussion about the forces shaping education across APAC. As schools work through a changing technology landscape, with emerging technologies and a growing demand for clearer evidence of progress, leaders need to think differently about what successful implementation looks like so they can build coherent systems that support more meaningful outcomes. This reflects a growing challenge across the region - what some describe as a “reality gap,” where fragmented tools increase complexity rather than driving meaningful change unless they are connected to clear action.

Ms Nhu Hoa also emphasised how technology has become essential to Ivy Global School’s approach, no longer an optional enhancement but a core part of delivering consistent and effective learning experiences. Complementing this perspective, Maciej Gorczycki and Wayne McMahon, Math Teacher, shared how Einstein School is using Courseware in practice, highlighting the success of integrating it into the classroom to support both teaching and student outcomes.

Building on these perspectives, the session explored key themes shaping school strategy across the region, including AI, personalisation, multilingual learning, and the use of real-time data to guide action. It also addressed key questions many leaders are asking as they work to move from access to impact and improve outcomes across the whole school:

  • How can we show evidence of impact more clearly?
  • How can we support teachers without adding complexity?
  • How can we create greater alignment across the student experience?

Empowering Educators with Edmentum: A Practical Application Workshop for Teachers

On 27 March, the conversation was brought directly into the classroom, showing educators how clearer insight has been helping Ivy Global School respond more quickly and precisely to student needs. Teachers attending this workshop explored how tools like Courseware and Exact Path can be used together in practice, learning how to:

  • Determine which information is most valuable, how to use it effectively, and how to turn it into next steps that support learning
  • Identify skill gaps, track growth, assess readiness for the next level, and make informed instructional decisions
  • Replicate what has worked at Ivy Global School, gaining a practical understanding of what successful implementation looks like over time

The emphasis was on what coherent educational technology use enables in practice: clearer visibility into student progress, better support for instructional decisions, more targeted responses to individual learning needs, and stronger evidence-based communication with families and school leaders.

This approach is already delivering measurable results at Ivy Global School, where the use of Courseware and Exact Path have supported strong student outcomes as part of a broader, integrated model - highlighted in this case study

One Partnership, Two Conversations, a Shared Global Focus

What made these events especially valuable was the way they connected leadership priorities with classroom reality. One session explored the wider pressures and possibilities shaping schools today, while the other focused on the day-to-day work of turning insight into action for students. Together, they demonstrated how a collaborative and productive partnership can bring different perspectives together to drive lasting educational impact.

These sessions also highlighted the key priorities that have guided the partnership from the start: celebrating success, using data to support better decisions, and ensuring that innovation always supports great teaching.
