Colorado World Geography A/B (Apex)

Colorado World Geography is a two-semester course that is 100 percent aligned to the Colorado Academic Standards (CAS) for social studies. The course is designed to develop students' understanding of the world and how its diverse geographies shape the international community, preparing them to be college and career-ready. Students will learn about the physical world, the tools needed to explore it effectively, and the physical characteristics of each continent. They will also analyze how geography influences the international community and engage with content that encourages them to develop a global perspective. In addition, the course covers the relationships between diverse geographies and the people and cultures that make up an interconnected world.
