Project Management Ready Certification

Project Management Ready Certification is a one-semester course designed to help students build a strong foundation in project management concepts, tools, and techniques with a specific focus on workforce readiness. Students will learn about the entire project management life cycle, examine management approaches, and understand the ethical responsibilities of project managers. They will also develop project charters, define stakeholder roles, and apply strategies for effective planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Students will strengthen their ability to analyze project performance, manage variables, apply quality management principles, and navigate the change management process to ensure successful project completion. In addition, they will learn essential strategies for managing tasks, guiding teams, and closing projects efficiently. Students will also learn the skills needed to communicate their value in project management roles and professional settings. Career-specific activities will help students practice and apply durable skills.
