Science Grade 1 A/B

Science Grade 1, Semester A, investigates and applies the engineering design process to the concepts of light and sound. The course examines objects based on their properties of matter and compares different life cycles and organisms. Motion, forces, and the flow of energy are also described in the course.

Science Grade 1, Semester B, explores how living things stay alive and survive, how plants and animals help solve human problems, and how plants and animals help solve human problems. It describes various celestial objects, such as the sun, moon, and stars. Lastly, it will explain changes in daylight across different seasons and weather conditions, and describe natural resources.

The materials needed for this course include standard school supplies and specified activity materials.
