Formative Reading Assessment Pack

This pack includes an EducationCity paper-based version of our online Formative Reading Assessment for 6-7 year olds.

The reading assessment is a great gauge to indicate your students reading ability. It is a short, simple test that will help you as a teacher plan your lessons effectively to help your pupils achieve to the best of their potential.

It includes a piece of text and 10 questions, which can be used as an assessment paper for students, as well as a separate answer sheet for teachers’ reference.

Children should be given 20 minutes to read and answer the questions.
