Accessibility at Edmentum
Our programs are evaluated against recognized accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA, ADA, and Section 508, with support from independent reviews by Level Access. Accessibility is core to how we design, evaluate, and improve our learning solutions.
Independently Reviewed by Level Access
We partner with a third-party, Level Access, to conduct ongoing accessibility evaluations. These reviews combine automated testing, expert review, and remediation guidance to strengthen accessibility across our products.
Evaluated Against Accessibility Standards
Edmentum evaluates its products against recognized accessibility standards on an ongoing basis, including:
- WCAG 2.1, Levels A and AA
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
Accessibility is not a one-time effort; it is an ongoing responsibility embedded in our products, processes, and partnerships, supported by continuous investment.
Built with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Principles
We design instruction to give students flexible ways to access content, engage with learning, and demonstrate what they know.
Integrated into Product Development
Accessibility is integrated into our product development lifecycle and supported by cross-functional teams, including IAAP-certified accessibility professionals across design, engineering, and quality assurance.
Transparency through VPATs
We believe transparency is essential for informed decision-making. Our VPATs are regularly updated to provide clear, product-level documentation describing accessibility conformance at a point in time, helping districts and schools evaluate accessibility with confidence.
Removing learning barriers
Edmentum products include flexible tools and features that help educators support students with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs and Section 504 plans, enabling supports for accommodations and instructional modifications.
