About the Approval

Exact Path’s Reading Diagnostic Assessment is approved by the Iowa Department of Education for the Early Literacy Implementation (ELI) list as a universal screening tool for grades 1-6. This approval is part of the ELI requirements outlined in Iowa Code 279.68. To comply with ELI and House File 2618, districts must select assessments from this approved list. The ELI list of approved assessments is viewable on their website.
