About the Approval
Exact Path’s Reading Diagnostic Assessment is approved by the Iowa Department of Education for the Early Literacy Implementation (ELI) list as a universal screening tool for grades 1-6. This approval is part of the ELI requirements outlined in Iowa Code 279.68. To comply with ELI and House File 2618, districts must select assessments from this approved list.
