Full Report
A 2025 study provides evidence that Exact Path diagnostic assessments yield highly accurate predictions of student college admissions test scores on the ACT college readiness assessment. These results support the use of Exact Path as a strong predictor of student proficiency on the ACT.
With this evidence, educators can confidently use Exact Path diagnostic results to predict students’ ACT performance and ensure that students are on track to meet academic standards, as well as college readiness, helping them build the academic knowledge and skills needed for success beyond high school.
In preparation for the ACT, educators can use Exact Path diagnostic results to:
- Predict student performance early, 1-2 years before taking the ACT in 11th grade
- Identify students who need additional support
- Prioritize content areas to focus on
- Inform data-driven instruction and targeted intervention
