Partner Spotlight: Enhancing Teaching and Learning with a Reliable Partnership in Elnora, Indiana

“What we really like about Edmentum is that it has a one-stop shop. We’re able to utilize multiple tools at one time. They are all the pieces that we need to be able to utilize with our curriculum, with our teachers, in giving them the tools they need to meet the students at their needs,” said Dr. Barry Stone, NDCSC Director of Curriculum and Technology.

Facing rising curricula costs and fragmented instructional tools, North Daviess Community School Corporation (NDCSC), a rural school corporation in Southern Indiana, turned to Edmentum for a unified solution. The district needed a way to support teachers, personalize learning, and stay within budget.

By adopting Edmentum’s suite of digital learning tools, the district reduced textbook costs significantly by integrating the platform into its textbook rental program. This shift allowed every student access to high-quality, standards-aligned instruction. 

“If we had students that were higher-level students, that continued to push them forward,” shared Lori Buchheit, NDCSC Title I teacher. “If we had students who were struggling learners, it put them right where they needed to be.”
