Edmentum (edmentum.com), a global education leader and the original pioneer in online teaching and learning programs, announces that Dr. Shane Dennison, Edmentum state programs manager has joined the Quality Matters K-12 Advisory Council. The Quality Matters K-12 Advisory Council, first established in 2018 as the K-12 Strategy Committee, provides guidance and advice for the K-12 programmatic directions, initiatives, and academic standards of Quality Matters.

Dr. Dennison has been with Edmentum for 17 years, many of which have been spent working closely with Quality Matters to help ensure that Edmentum courses meet the rigorous Quality Matters course design rubric standards of design efficacy and alignment. Before his time at Edmentum, Dr. Dennison taught for eight years at the high school and college levels in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
