Edmentum, a leading provider of online and mobile learning solutions, announced that two of its products, Plato Courseware and Study Island, have been named finalists for the 2016 SIIA CODiE™ Awards. Plato Courseware is a finalist for Best College and Career Readiness Solution, and Study Island is a finalist for Best Student Assessment Solution. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier awards for the software and information industries and have been recognizing product excellence for 30 years. The awards offer 91 categories that are organized by industry focus of education technology and business technology.
Winners will be announced during a virtual award ceremony on May 18. The top honor of best overall educational product will be presented at the Education Industry Symposium, a leading national education technology conference, in Denver on July 26. The announcement will take place during a special celebration party and dinner.
Edmentum recently expanded its Plato Courseware offering to include an industry-leading Career and Technical Education (CTE) Course Library of over 100 full semester courses. This new collection is designed to empower career exploration and readiness with customizable courses covering all 16 nationally recognized Career Clusters®.
