Edmentum, a leading provider of proven online learning solutions, headquartered in Bloomington, Minn., has named Robert J. Rueckl President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Rueckl was appointed Interim CEO on August 28, 2015, and prior to that time served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since January 2007.

Mark McEachen, the chairman of Edmentum’s board of directors, said “We were fortunate to have someone with Rob’s experience and tenure to step into the interim CEO role last August and assist the board in managing through an unexpected leadership change. As the board began working more closely with Rob, it became clear that he was the logical choice to lead the business going forward.”

The company also named James Stewart as its new Chief Financial Officer. Stewart has been the company’s interim CFO since October 2015, and prior to that was the CFO of Qumu Corporation, a publicly-held provider of video content management software to business. Stewart holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and over the course of his career, has served as CFO of a number of software and technology companies.
