The GenNET Online Learning Portal provides K-12 students discounted curriculum with a wide variety of online courses. The GenNet approval process assures EdOptions Academy courses are aligned to Michigan standards, facilitated by state-certified teachers, and are vetted for quality and rigor.

About Michigan GenNET Online Learning Portal

Developed by the Genesee Intermediate School District, the program is available to all Michigan students in grades 6–12 through the district’s Seat Time Waiver (STW) program; also students in grades K–5 can participate if they are enrolled in a school district in Genesee County or any contiguous county. All courses are aligned to Michigan standards and are offered at a discount on the GenNET Portal. GenNET Online Learning provides students with a wide range of teacher-led courses, teacher-facilitated courses, and self-directed classroom tools delivered over the Internet.
