At Edmentum, we believe in providing a sense of welcoming and belonging for everyone. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (“DEIB”) enables us to fulfill our vision of a world where educators succeed and students thrive, everywhere learning occurs.
We foster an inclusive environment in which individuals can be their authentic selves. Our core values of diversity, empathy, respect, and trust highlight the behaviors that anchor our culture. We use regular engagement surveys to measure our DEIB impact using an inclusion index, as well as to ensure a positive corporate culture.
Our Culture by the Numbers
At Edmentum, we respect the different perspectives of our colleagues at all levels of leadership and governance. Our employees reflect a mosaic of diversity, much like the educators and students we serve. Created in 2020, Edmentum’s Employee Resource Groups foster an inclusive environment, while building a diverse employee and leadership pipeline.
Giving back to the community in which we live and work, including partnerships that support diversity, is embedded in our DNA. We encourage volunteerism by providing employees with 16 hours of volunteer time off, as well as by supporting our We Can Learn Foundation.
Our Impact in the Community
We design content in which educators and students can see themselves in their learning and gain perspective on the world around us. We create products that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and provide students with the foundation for life-long learning and growth. Our commitment to DEIB is part of the fabric and philosophy of our curriculum design.
Edmentum’s commitment to DEIB includes collaborating with diverse suppliers to support our business and serve our customers. We seek opportunities to continually evolve inclusive representation among our suppliers, providers and vendors, including minority, women, and veteran owned businesses as well as other small, disadvantaged and diverse entities.
