Jamie Candee leads Edmentum’s strategic vision and long-term growth as President, CEO, and Board Director. She has served as CEO of Edmentum since 2017, and has extensive experience in education technology, private equity, and policy. Edmentum is a global education leader, delivering research-based digital curriculum, assessments for learning, and quality educational consulting. With over 60 years of experience, Edmentum is both a pioneer in online teaching and learning solutions and is continually committed to making it easier for educators to individualize learning for every student.
As CEO, Jamie is focused on ensuring that Edmentum programs and services empower teachers with the digital curriculum and assessments for learning they need to personalize instruction and create equitable learning opportunities for all students. Her vision is to ensure Edmentum programs are aligned to every teacher’s instructional strategies and demonstrate evidence of growth and learning. Leading with an educator first approach, Jamie ensures that teachers and students are always top-of-mind – from development through implementation of their Edmentum programs.
Jamie lives by the credo of doing well by doing good. In 2018, Jamie founded Edmentum’s We Can Learn foundation. We Can Learn is committed to making a meaningful impact in education through philanthropic giving and service, that supports equitable and innovative learning opportunities. Since its inception, We Can Learn has supported the development of a school in Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Uganda, partnered with multiple local and national organizations, and provided support to over 10,000 children.
Jamie is an active member of her community, providing mentorship, speaking, and leading through a variety of volunteer opportunities and board memberships. Jamie has spoken or been quoted on leadership, education, technology, finance, and professional development in The New York Times, Forbes, Today, ASU+GSV, and AASA. Jamie is on the Board of Trustees for
Visitation School, and she sits on the board of directors for Project Success and Learning Tree International. Additionally, Jamie has been recognized by various industry-leading organizations for her leadership including the Minnesota Business Magazine, Ernst & Young, The Software Report, and EdTech Digest. Jamie holds a Master of Business Administration from Bethel University and a Bachelor of Science in political science from the University of Wisconsin.

Frank Jalufka joined Edmentum in 2020 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Frank is responsible for leading Edmentum’s finance, accounting, and legal teams. Frank has an extensive background in finance and operations management, bringing over 30 years of experience to his role as CFO at Edmentum.
Prior to joining Edmentum, Frank served as Chief Financial Officer at Education Management Corporation (EDMC), overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the business focused on post-secondary education across North America; Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer at The Dolan Company; and Vice President Enterprise Finance at Freedom Communications. Frank holds a BBA from Texas A&M University, Mays Business School.

Chief Operating Officer
Ryan has been with Edmentum since 2010 and has spent his entire career in education. He began in the organization heading the marketing team, then went on to lead multiple segments of the sales and marketing organization. He was most recently appointed
to lead Edmentum's sales, services, and marketing organizations as Chief Operating Officer. In his current role, he focuses on creating an end-to-end customer lifecycle centered on a partnership. Ryan has a proven track record of producing growth,
and his career milestones include launching our virtual academy and introducing the Edmentum brand. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Hofstra University.
A lifelong learner, Ryan is “amazed at the positive impact technology can have on the learning process.” Growing up, he had a “one size fits all” education experience. School was something he had to do, not something he felt was tailored
to his learning style and meant to produce the best possible outcome. That makes him very excited about the future of education and the difference technology can make in reaching every student, wherever they are.
Ryan believes that Edmentum is in the best position to empower educators to leverage technology to truly enhance learning because of how the organization can help educators assess students’ learning levels and help students develop the skills they
need to succeed. Ryan is motivated by Edmentum’s ability to make learning more effective today and into the future.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Amanda works to bring Edmentum’s long-term vision to life by connecting strategy to execution and ensuring that our goals for growth and impact are aligned to the current and future needs of our education partners and the students we serve. She has extensive experience setting strategy, growing and diversifying revenue across markets, and leading complex change.
Amanda most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer at The New Teachers Project (TNTP) and has also previously held senior leadership positions at JP Morgan Chase, including Chief Operations Officer of Global Futures and Options.

Dave started with Edmentum in 1994 as part of PLATO Learning’s acquisition of Lightspan. Throughout his tenure Dave has led content development including development of Edmentum’s online courses solution; development of the assessment products;
and the ongoing innovation of online curriculum. Establishing an evaluation and efficacy program to measure the effectiveness of educational solutions, Edmentum can now measure the impact on student learning. Dave has also led Professional
Services, Training and Implementation solutions and most recently runs Edmentum’s virtual school, EdOptions Academy.

Chief Technology Officer
Paul joined the Edmentum team in December of 2009 as Chief Architect, overseeing all software development, architecture and data center operations. As Chief Architect, he led a team in launching the company’s first SaaS offering, allowing development to expand and progress its ability to react to the needs of today’s ever-changing educational landscape. In early 2012, Paul joined the Edmentum executive leadership team as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to Edmentum, Paul focused on software architecture and software engineering leadership – consulting with large organizations like Microsoft. He also served as Chief Architect at Midwest Wireless and led a global development team at Deloitte.
Outside of his role at Edmentum, Paul is a member of the SciMathMN Standards and Frameworks committee which advises on the science and math standards used in Minnesota. He also serves on the IMS Global LTI Product Steering Committee, on the Carnegie Mellon METALS Program Review committee, and has participated in advisory sessions for industry companies and organizations like Clever, Project Unicorn and Digital Promise. Paul holds an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BBA. from University of Minnesota Duluth.
Paul is driven by how technology can change the way students learn. He leads a team of technology professionals driven not only by their passion for their craft, but also because of the real-world impact their work has. “I’m inspired by the power of combining technology and education, and I’m excited to be part of the evolution of how we teach and learn. Using technology to provide teachers with insight to personalize learning for their students has never had more potential.”

Chief Product Officer
Cheryl joined Edmentum in 2019 as chief product officer with over 23 years of experience as both an educator and a product leader. Cheryl leads Edmentum’s experience design, product management, research and design, learning design, and curriculum and assessment teams. As CPO, Cheryl is focused on guiding product strategy and the roadmap of the organization to deliver solutions that delight customers, increase teacher capacity, and improve student outcomes. She believes that Edmentum’s Educator First mission is a key tenet in creating powerful learning solutions that truly meet the needs of teachers and students.
Cheryl began her career as a classroom teacher. She taught several elementary grade levels and mathematics to middle and high school students and adult learners. Prior to joining Edmentum, Cheryl directed the development of assessment solutions, teaching and learning products, and professional services as Chief Business Officer for Pivot Learning, Vice President of Technical Product Management for McGraw-Hill Education, and Director of Instructional Design for Scholastic. She is an inventor on an adaptive learning patent and a patent submission for a network-based educational system.
Cheryl holds an M.A. in education from Chapman University, and a B.A. in liberal studies from Saint Mary’s College of California. She also holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development certificate.
In elementary school, Cheryl realized she wasn’t an auditory learner; instead, she thrived on visual learning experiences that allowed her to model her thinking. It wasn’t long after she uncovered her own learning style that she became aware of the learning differences in her classmates. “I always was drawn to helping kids who were struggling. I thought that if I could help them create meaning in what they were doing, learning would be easier for them.” Cheryl’s love for learning compelled her to become a teacher, where she worked for several years in elementary and secondary classrooms. Later, she moved into ed-tech because she wanted to have a broader impact. “Technology can take us places in teaching and learning that I never dreamed was possible when I was a classroom teacher.”
Edmentum’s Educator First mission is the primary reason Cheryl is thrilled to work on the Edmentum team. “Elevating the craft of teaching and helping students unlock their own potential is my passion. I get to live that passion every day with like-minded people who are keenly focused on serving the education community so well.” Edmentum’s commitment to education is evident in its leading-edge innovations and the diversity of solutions it offers teachers and students.
Chief People and Culture Officer
Andrea is an accomplished human resources leader who translates business strategy into talent and organizational plans that drive capability and performance. She brings nearly 20 years of experience as a recruiter, business partner, manager in performance and talent management, leader in organizational design, and vice president of human resources to her role at Edmentum. She has also been able to make tremendous impact in diverse communities through diversity, equity, inclusion initiatives, and employee resource groups.
Andrea's transparency and ability to build relationships across organizations at every level have been keys to her success. She earned her MBA and Bachelor of Science from the University of Phoenix and organizational design certification through Cornell ILR. She is a frequent speaker for community workshops that help individuals prepare to enter the workforce, as well as offer support to teenage motherhood organizations.
