Exact Path Diagnostic and Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) Correlational Study

PPT Thumb

Exact Path diagnostic assessment scores are highly correlated to the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) scores in grades 3, 4, 5, and 7 in math and in grades 3-9 in reading. These findings suggest that the assessments measure similar skills and knowledge, and that Exact Path is a strong predictor of FAST performance.

In preparation for FAST assessments, educators can use Exact Path diagnostic results to:

  • Identify students who need additional support
  • Prioritize content areas to focus on
  • Inform data-driven instruction and targeted intervention
  • Help ensure that students are on track to meet academic standards
