State & Agency Approvals

Per the Indiana Department of Education, Edmentum is now an approved education technology provider for Emergency Assistance for Nonpublic Schools (EANS) program funds.

The approval allows eligible schools to use EANS funding toward any of Edmentum’s K-12 programs and services. These solutions include:

Per the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED), two of Edmentum’s programs, Study Island and Exact Path, have been approved as supplementary instruction tools in the state of New Mexico for ELA in grades K–8 through the Multiple List for K-8 English Language Arts ELA Core and Supplementary Instruction Materials Adoption.

Edmentum Exact Path, our K–12 diagnostic-driven, individualized instruction program, is now an approved assessment by the Ohio Department of Education. Exact Path has achieved approval status for the 2023–24 school year for use as High Quality Student Data (HQSD), a Gifted Identification Assessment, and a Comparable Assessment to Ohio's K-3 Diagnostic Assessment for the Third Grade Reading Guarantee (K-3 Diagnostic).

Kentucky Department of Education
Edmentum is pleased to announce that Exact Path’s assessment for reading, is now an approved early literacy universal screener by the Kentucky Department of Education. Exact Path’s reading assessment has achieved approval status starting in the 2023–24 school year for the purposes of the Read to Succeed Act.

Edmentum is proud to announce that Exact Path was awarded the Research-Based Design for Instructional Learning Products certification by Digital Promise.

Florida Department of Education
Edmentum Exact Path, our K–12 diagnostic-driven, individualized instruction program, is now an approved assessment by the Florida Department of Education. Exact Path has achieved approval status for use as an Alternative Assessment for Good Cause Promotion, and a Norm-Referenced Assessment for Florida private school’s annual assessment requirement.

Edmentum is pleased to announce that the California Department of Education has adopted Exact Path as an Academic Progress Indicator on the approved verified data list for charter school renewal.

Edmentum Courseware's Louisiana Algebra I course has been designated Tier 1 status for exemplifying quality by the Louisiana Instructional Materials Review. The approval extends from the 2023-24 school year through the 2028-29 school year. The Louisiana Department of Education's review of instructional materials determines the degree of alignment with state content standards to support school systems with program selection.

Exact Path has been approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Education as a universal screener of reading deficiency and dyslexia risk-factors for the Reading Sufficiency Act (RSA).

Edmentum Exact Path is now an approved assessment for K-10 by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI).

The Kansas State Department of Education has included Edmentum Courseware and EdOptions Academy on its approved list of evidence-based practices and programs for at-risk programs. The Every Student Succeeds Act requires districts to use their federal funds to support evidence-based practices, and K.S.A 72-5153 (d) states that “the state board shall identify and approve evidence-based best practices for at-risk programs and instruction of students receiving at-risk program services.
