Arizona Algebra 1 A/B

Arizona Algebra 1 is a two-semester course that is designed to help students develop computational fluency, deepen their conceptual understanding, and apply mathematical processes. Students will create, graph, and solve linear equations and systems of equations, as well as model statistical data. They will also add, multiply, and factor polynomials; solve quadratic equations using a variety of methods; model real-world situations with quadratic and exponential functions; compare different function types graphically and algebraically; and represent, analyze, and compare data sets. The course supports student learning through guided instruction, interactive tools, videos that work through examples and model problem-solving skills, worksheets for practice, and guided notes that help students record key takeaways as they move through the content.
