Florida Fundamentals of Government and Public Administration A/B
Florida Fundamentals of Government and Public Administration is a two-semester course designed to promote understanding of the foundations and functions of government and public administration in the United States. Students will examine the history and development of the US Constitution, citizens' rights and responsibilities, and the role of public policy on various groups in the US and abroad. The course places a particular focus on the application of geography, science, and technology to governmental functions. In unit activities, students will analyze the influence of public policy and interpret governmental concepts at the local, state, and federal levels. Students will also appraise career pathways and the professional and ethical skills required for success in the government and public administration field.
