North Carolina Occupational Preparation I A/B

North Carolina Occupational Preparation I is a two-semester course that introduces students to behaviors, habits, and attitudes needed to gain and maintain employment in their career choice. The lessons and activities direct students in developing a work ethic, learning job-seeking skills, and in self-management and decision-making skills. The course covers workplace behavior, health and safety, communication skills, workplace laws, and professional skills, as well as how to choose and begin a career.
