Social Studies Grade K A/B
Social Studies Grade K, Semester A, explores students' roles and responsibilities as citizens within the context of civics, geography, economics, and history. Students will also learn about their own culture and how it impacts understanding of oneself and others, as well as be introduced to aspects of our National culture.
Social Studies Grade K, Semester B, explores how to solve problems, the need for rules and laws. and how they help communities. Topics ask students to examine their place in the world and learn about the environment and what it is made up of. Lastly, it will explore American symbols, traditions, and holidays.
The materials needed for this course include standard school supplies and specified activity materials.
