The report features 36 studies and 10 district stories―including Edmentum’s first study to meet the ESSA Tier 1 evidence standard―showcasing meaningful results across academic acceleration, flexible pathways, attendance and re-engagement, and future readiness

Bloomington, MN (October 22, 2026)— Edmentum, the leading provider of career-connected learning and AI-enabled learning acceleration to drive proven student outcomes across K-12 and beyond, has released its 2025–26 Annual Impact Report. The report provides a clear picture of Edmentum’s impact on the top priorities held by states, districts, and schools, presenting key findings from research conducted over the past academic year, along with a guide defining the strength of evidence for each study.

Presented as a multimedia digital experience, the report delivers data visualizations and embedded videos illustrating the results across 36 studies and 10 district stories. Among these is the flagship study on Targeted Skills Instruction, Edmentum’s high-impact virtual tutoring solution. This study―the company’s first to meet the ESSA Tier 1 standard, indicating causal evidence―demonstrated that upper elementary students in a large New Jersey district made significant gains in English language arts (ELA) because they received tutoring. Among the specific findings: students who received tutoring improved their performance on the state assessment by an average of 20 percentile points and were 2.5 times more likely than their peers to meet test expectations.

“We’re proud to introduce Edmentum’s 2025-26 Annual Impact Report, an accounting of our most meaningful, relevant research results from the past year,” said Jamie Candee, President & CEO of Edmentum. “We understand education leaders’ deep commitment to their students and their need to choose solutions that work, which is why we hold paramount the objective of demonstrating outcomes that meet the highest levels of impact in the areas that matter most within schools and districts. I encourage all leaders to engage with the report, think deeply about what ‘good’ looks like for their learners, and ask us the hard questions. The process of working through the evidence together strengthens our partnerships and our shared success in helping students achieve their potential across and beyond their schooling experience.”

The report is organized into four chapters that correspond to leaders’ pressing challenges in the following areas:

  • Academic Acceleration―Evidence that demonstrates how districts can understand what learners need, address gaps, and keep students moving toward grade-level expectations at the same time.
  • Flexible Pathways to On-Time Graduation―Research findings and success stories that convey how state and district leaders keep students on track, recover lost ground, and expand access to required and elective coursework even when schedule, staffing, or location make the traditional path difficult.
  • Attendance and Re-engagement―Results that show how introducing flexibility, increasing relevance, and maintaining rigor can be done in combination, bringing students back to school and reconnecting them with their academics.
  • Future Readiness―This chapter communicates, through tangible outcomes, what it looks like when districts connect exploration, course selection, and real-world work experience to help students redefine success beyond the diploma.

While navigating through each of these chapters, leaders will encounter research and district stories that both demonstrate and illustrate what positive outcomes look like in real schools, for real students. Among other findings, results included in the report show that Exact Path Insights predicts performance on important state and national exams, give evidence that students with heavy credit recovery courseloads made up more credits when they had a mix of Edmentum Courseware along with their traditional courses, and explain how Courseware also helped more students start and complete their career and technical education (CTE) journey.

As the current school year progresses, Edmentum will continue to study the efficacy of its solutions and report what the evidence shows in addition to what it doesn’t show yet. To engage with the 2025–26 Annual Impact Report in detail, visit www.edmentum.com/impact-report.
